I've never been a writer - not for the school paper, not for the yearbook, not for the org newsletter. My first attempt at writing (that I hear people actually read) would be this blog. So I guess I can't really say I had writer's block. Maybe blogger's block? It's okay, as long as it's not baker's block.

My boyfriend got the job he's been wanting to get for a long time. So I thought I'd make him a "congratulations" gift.:)
There are a LOT of tools that bakers use. It's frustrating sometimes because it's either a) ridiculously expensive for a one-time-only use, or b) it's not exactly how you need it to be. Case in point: cookie cutters. Cookie cutters can be expensive for a single-use purpose and finding the right type (right size and shape) can be difficult most of the time.
There are 2 kinds of magic in baking.
